About
Anatol received his B.S. in Physics in 2006 from Cal Poly Pomona. He pursued undergraduate research on magnetic thin films and magneto-optic spectroscopy. Some of his favorite subjects included Plasma Physics and Computational Physics.
Anatol has always liked designing, building, and repairing things so a job as the Laboratory Associate here at LMU was a great fit! Mr. Hoemke oversees the Physics labs and equipment and makes sure everything is in working order. He runs the Physics Shop, a collection of modern and “antique” machines (they still work wonderfully!) used in his day-to-day endeavors.
