Arvin Mesgari, Ph.D., is an associate professor of information systems and business analytics at Loyola Marymount University. His research interests include data analytics, open communities, and human-computer interaction. He explores novel data-driven methodologies to study the socio-technical aspects of information systems in organizations. His work has appeared in leading outlets, including the MIS Quarterly, European Journal of Information Systems, IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, and Journal of Information Technology. Before entering academia, he worked as a computer systems analyst.
