Dr. Marino is responsible for the computer engineering portion of the curriculum. Her research interests include the areas of computer applications and image processing. She has published and presented papers at national and international conferences on enhancing degraded image data. For many years, she worked on a new generation military identification system for the Navy and optical acquisition and tracking systems for NASA. Dr. Marino is the faculty moderator for the student branch of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
Dr. Marino received her B.S. from Marquette University in 1989, her M.S. from the University of Notre Dame in 1993 and completed her Ph.D. in 1996.
