Damon Willick is Associate Professor of Modern and Contemporary Art History. He has written for journals including X-TRA, Art Lies, Spiritus, East of Borneo, and NKA Journal of Contemporary African Art and contributed to exhibition catalogues like the Norton Simon Museum’s Proof: The Rise of Printmaking in Southern California. He served on the editorial board of X-TRA Contemporary Art Quarterly from 2006-2013 and is currently a contributing editor of the journal. His book and exhibition on the San Fernando Valley’s contribution to Los Angeles art is forthcoming from Angel City Press and California State University, Northridge in 2014
