About

Before joining Loyola Marymount University in 2007, Mr. Brancolini produced documentary television and managed the television production unit of Indiana University for over twenty years. His responsibilities included local, regional and national television production for WTIU, PBS Channel 30, as well as promotional and educational video production for the university. He also taught media courses for the Department of Telecommunication and the School of Education. He has produced and directed numerous documentary and multi-camera studio productions and promotional videos for several Indiana not-for-profit organizations. Brancolini has received CINE Golden Eagles and a regional Emmy for his work.
Mr. Brancolini holds a B.S. in Secondary Education, English and an M.S. in Communication from Clarion State College (Pennsylvania) and has completed coursework towards a Ph.D. in Mass Communication at Indiana University. His national public television credits include “Sugarplum Dreams – Staging the Nutcracker Ballet”, “Spanning Time: America’s Covered Bridges”, “Ten Steps to College with the Greenes”, and “Paying for College with the Greenes.” He also produced “Volleyball - the Global Link” for world-wide distribution by the International Volleyball Federation.
Brancolini currently serves as a clinical professor teaching in both the College of Communication and Fine Arts and the School of Film and Television. He resides with his wife and three children in Redondo Beach, California.
