    About

    Dr. Gabriele Varieschi studied physics at the University of Milan, graduating with a thesis in Applied Superconductivity at the INFN-LASA laboratory. After finishing his undergraduate education, he worked as a physics and math instructor at a local Jesuit High School, the "Istituto Leone XIII", before moving to sunny southern California in 1994.
    After completing his graduate studies at UCLA, he joined the Physics Department at Loyola Marymount University, where he combines his research interests in Elementary Particle Physics, Gravitation and Cosmology, with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.
    Dr. Varieschi received his M.S. in 1996, and his Ph.D. in Physics in 2000 from the University of California, Los Angeles.
