Dr. Tarleton's research interests are in cancer and chronic disease epidemiology with an emphasis on biological-environmental interactions and modifiable health behaviors. I am also interested in public health prevention through health education and interventions that are culturally and socioeconomically appropriate for diverse communities.
Dr. Tarleton is a Master of Science from the Department of Epidemiology in the School of Public Health at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Tarleton is a Doctor of Philosophy from the Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton University.
She also holds a Master of Public Affairs and Politics from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University, New Brunswick.
