About
Through the Departments of English and Chicana/o Studies, Professor Mah y Busch offers courses on topics such as American autobiography and fiction, postcolonial theory, moral philosophy, and U.S. Latina/o cultural studies. He publishes in the fields of Chicana/o literature and ethics. He currently is researching Latina American philosophy, narrative ethics and humanist geography in order to complete his book, Conciencia: Materializing a Chicana/o Spirit, in which he examines agency through the lens of value in Chicana/o aesthetics. Dr. Mah y Busch received his B.A. in American Literature & Chicana/o Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1993. He received his M.A. in English Language and Literature from Cornell University in 1998 as well as his Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from Cornell University in 2003.
