Linh Hua

Dr. Hua earned a Ph.D. in English from the University of California, Irvine with specialization in African American and Asian American literature and culture, feminist theory, and critical theory. Her dissertation research examined how the confluence of liberal ideology and the transatlantic slave trade shaped modern definitions and practices of love, and how such definitions are challenged or refused by the experiences women of color.
