Dr. Drennan interests include plant stress biology, especially ecophysiological and ecological aspects of water stress and salt stress of desert and estuarine species. Structure/function relationships in plants with emphasis on secretory structures.
Drennan recieved her Ph.D in Biology from the University of Natal, Durban, South Africa in 1987.
Her B.S. in Biology came from the Univeristy of Natal, Durban, South Africa in 1980 with her honors degree completed in 1981.
