About

Dr. Ricardo Machón is a clinical psychologist and he has taught at Loyola Marymount University since 1986. He has over 10 years of administrative experience and he is deeply committed to mentoring undergraduate student research. Dr. Machón has authored over 25 professional publications in the area of schizophrenia and psychopathology and has presented research findings on prenatal neurodevelopment of psychological disorders at numerous international and national professional meetings.
Dr. Machón received his B.A. in Psychology and French from University of Southern California in 1979, his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from University of Southern California in 1982, and his
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University of Southern California in 1986.
