Rosemary Kim joined LMU's accounting department in the fall of 2013. She served as the Paul A. Grosch Professor of Accounting from 2020-2023. Professor Kim previously taught undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting and information systems at the University of California, Riverside.
Professor Kim has a Ph.D. and M.S. in management of information systems from Claremont Graduate University, an MBA from USC and a B.S. from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Prior to teaching, Professor Kim worked many years in auditing and financial analysis for multinational organizations.
Professor Kim's research interests include information technology governance, accounting information systems, information technology/systems auditing, and emerging technologies in accounting information systems.
