About

I earned my B.A. in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and my Ph.D. in Biophysics from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I was a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Colorado in Boulder. During my post doctoral studies I identified and studied novel regulators of messenger RNA. I also taught human genetics at the University of Colorado. My research interests are in the area of RNA biology, particularly in the regulation of gene expression.
