Tatiana Kuzmenko

I am an Instructor of Biology enjoying teaching General Biology Labs with the team of fantastic faculty since 2020. In my teaching I enjoy experimenting with different tools, technology and approaches in the classroom exploring what makes all and any student engage with the subject and excited about Science. I believe everyone can be good at Math or drawing or other learned skills many of which we use in lab, it’s only a matter of effort and commitment. I am convinced that we truly succeed in teaching when our students begin to carry concepts and skills from one discipline into another linking knowledge together and recognizing the opportunities for discovery in this interconnectedness. And this magic can only happen when we as faculty lead by example bridging our disciplines, sharing insights and learning from one another so the interdisciplinary collaboration is something I am deeply passionate about.
