About
Thomas Covington is an assistant professor of finance in the College of Business Administration at Loyola Marymount University. Before returning to academia to pursue his passion for teaching, Thomas spent over a decade in the banking industry and several years in corporate finance. Thomas teaches corporate finance, and his pedagogy includes utilizing current regulatory data as tangible course material examples. His research examines the relationship between corporate governance and sustainability alongside random contemporaneous finance topics. In his free time, Thomas enjoys lifting weights, trying new restaurants, and exploring Los Angeles with his wife.
