N1 - We are excited to announce the William H. Hannon Library's summer 2019 exhibition in Archives and Special Collections, "From Their Perspective VII: Art Posters For A Brighter Future." For this seventh annual exhibition in our From Their Perspective series, we feature visually stunning posters created by Los Angeles artist John August Swanson.

N2 - Rachel Wen-Paloutzian led the curation for this seventh annual exhibition in the From Their Perspective series, featuring visually stunning posters created by Los Angeles artist John August Swanson. These art posters convey powerful messages on various pertinent social issues, such as environmentalism, immigration, living wage, and the death penalty. Eighteen Loyola Marymount University undergraduate students, who worked at the Hannon Library, participated as curators in the exhibition. Each student presents a poster of their choice and shares their reflection on social justice issues that resonate with them.
