Abstract

Funny Head is the story of a stand-up comic named Marc who debuts a new routine centered around his last failed relationship and full of self-loathing humor. He is quickly overwhelmed by memories of his past and must ultimately choose between continuing his performance and making amends with those he has rejected.

This film was produced in the Fall of 2017 through Vanessa Newell's Prod 400 class at LMU's School of Film & Television. I am the director of the film, and I collaborated with fellow honors students Keyshawn C. Garraway (Screenwriter/Co-Producer), Alexander Dulak (Director of Photography), and Nicholas Sy (Editor).
