Abstract

In this chapter, Hazlitt and Johnson-grau introduce our plan and experience with LMU faculty engagement in a comprehensive print monograph deselection project and the results from the first two semesters of the project, along with lessons that we learned along the way. Readers will take away a concrete example of a time-intensive but effective model for engaging library administration, faculty, librarian liaisons, and university administration with a multi-year deselection project.
