Abstract

The year of 2020 presented the globe with many new frontiers. And as previously normal social and workforce interaction began to break down, new norms began to take foot. One of these new norms was the explosion of the "passion economy," wherein people began to realize they could monetize their passions online. Though social media and "influencing" had been known prior, since 2020, over 50 million people globally now identify as creators. These creators can take a variety of shapes and forms—from your common YouTube filmography to your online yoga instructor to the team that just produced the music video you watched by your favorite artist. Now that the vast majority of content that we consume is produced by these sole proprietors or small LLC groups, there is a dire need for easier business processes. New solutions are being spun up in the market seemingly every quarter, but most all of them only solve a niche portion of these business peoples' needs. My thesis project, the result of countless conversations with potential users and hours of strategy design, offers creators a solution that makes managing their business-side of life nearly as enjoyable as their creation-side. This project has resulted in a waitlist of both potential individual (sole proprietor) and enterprise (LLC, C-Corp) users and verbal investment interest.
