International Conductors Exchange Program Building Bridges To China

ACDA has recognized the importance of creating and maintaining strong relationships with choral organizations from around the world, as evidenced from their earliest ICEP exchanges with Germany, Sweden, Venezuela, and Argentina more than twenty years ago. The reinstatement of the ICEP in 2010 and the subsequent exchange with Cuba in 2012, communicated to ACDA members and its partners around the globe the importance of intercultural dialogue. Building upon the strength and success of the 2012 exchange, ACDA is partnering with China and the China Chorus Association in 2014 to once again provide the opportunity to create meaningful international collaborations that have the potential to impact thousands of lives both here and abroad.
