Abstract

During this election year, there has been a lot of discussion about faith and politics. Panelists from faith and social justice communities in Los Angeles will discuss what issues are important to them, how they mobilize to achieve outcomes, and what roles young people can play in creating the convivencia of the future.

Theme of the day:

religion + life = politics

We live in a “majority minority” city, in which some of those minorities are religious ones. In other places in our world, Christians are in the minority. How can we live together in peace, rather than violence? Given our differences, can we even pray together?
