Abstract

As a piano performance major, my senior project culminates into a full-length recital, accompanied by my research-based program notes in addition to the performance. The development of my recital program addresses a selection from each of the four different European musical eras: Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary. These four different musical sets that I have learned, practiced, analyzed, and memorized over the past four years synthesize into my hour-long recital. My results lead to the actual performance on my Senior Recital, which is seen through the videos of the performance as the actual body of my work.
