Student-Designed Bookmarks for Preservation Education

Abstract

The librarian worked with Graphic Design faculty to create an assignment that had students competing in a real-world process to design bookmarks with specific library preservation education messages, from a given list of themes. Librarian did oral critique of first draft of student designs. Winners' designs were printed and distributed throughout the library.
