“The Generativity of Autoethnographic Inquiry: An Impulse Towards Action”

This paper was generated on a 2025 ICQI panel entitled “Autoethnography as Inquiry and Generativity.” The author builds an argument for the generative nature of autoethnography as advocacy and action in light of current national and world challenges (linked with the Trump administration) building on the transformative potentials of autoethnography as a form of critical qualitative inquiry and an activist affect.
