Toward a Muslim Theology of Migration

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

A collection of essays that present the theologies of migration proposed by Judaism, various Christian churches and denominations, and Islam. Sandwiched between theological considerations on migration as homecoming to God and as a plural journeying into divine self-disclosure, the nine essays discuss God's nature and ways of acting in the world, human responses to this migrant God, and the ethical, spiritual and aesthetic challenges posed by the contemporary "Age of Migration."
