Abstract

Stigma can impede help-seeking. In the United States, public attitudes about mental health have ostensibly improved in some ways, but people still tend to assume that negative views prevail. Presenting survey data showing overwhelming support for people with mental health conditions may help dispel some stigma and increase help-seeking intentions.
